The Heiman HM-5HW-T is a wirelessly networkable heat detector for the early detection of excessive temperatures. Unlike classic smoke detectors, this device reacts specifically to heat – ideal for kitchens, boiler rooms, garages, or workshops where smoke detectors often trigger false alarms.
As soon as the ambient temperature is between 54°C and 65°C, the detector emits a loud and visible alarm. Simultaneously, the signal is forwarded to up to 40 other networked devices. The HM-5HW-T can also be monitored, tested, and muted via app using a compatible smart gateway.
Typical applications
– Kitchens, boiler rooms, garages, or workshops with heat-intensive equipment
– Residential buildings with wirelessly networked alarm detectors
– Smart home systems with gateway and app control
